Pinellas County Job Corps Students Perform an Original Play

Actor and Pinellas County Job Corps staff member Cranstan Cumberbatch wrote a comedy stage play and then coached ten students to perform the hilarious show in front of staff, students, friends and family.

‘Didn’t See That Coming’ is staged in a normal house setting—normal that is–until a special guest shows up for dinner. Then calamity occurs.

Carpentry and Facilities Maintenance students built the sets for the play.

“It’s our goal to use the power of the arts to help the students learn and develop social skills that will help them as they prepare to enter the workforce,” said Cumberbatch.
