As part of the HEALs program to promote health and wellness with students, the CMA class at Pinellas County Job Corps got a chance to use yoga mats and hit the floor to learn how to properly stretch. The slow movements work to help students to relieve stress, gain strength and increase flexibility. The CMA class spends a lot of time sitting in a classroom setting, so was one of the first selected to benefit from this 3-day-a-week program. Just half an hour a day can make a big difference. Other classes will soon benefit too—and the students love it!
