As part of its quarterly Community Relations Council meeting, Pinellas County Job Corps recognized its Alumni of the Quarter and Employer Partner of the quarter. Alumni Chris Coupette attended Job Corps in 2013, gained certifications in Clinical Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy—and while living on campus, went to St. Petersburg College to get his L.P.N. license. He works at the same assisted living facility where he did his internship while at Job Corps and says Job Corps was the best decision he ever made.

Our Employer Partner of the Quarter, Borrell Electric came to us through a relationship built by our Home Builders Institute electrical instructor. After approaching Borrell six years ago, the company has visited our campus to talk about job opportunities and has hired a number of our students. We are so grateful for our Employer and Community Partners!
