Pinellas County Job Corps Center students went to Lake Wales to talk to youth about the opportunity that Job Corps could provide. The event was promoted by our business partner and native of Lake Wales, Dwight Wilson with the City of St. Petersburg Water Resource Department.  He set up the event to take place at the local community center. Our PCJCC Choir performed as part of the program.  All students gave their reasons why they went to Job Corps and what they plan to do when they graduate.  The interaction between the Lake Wales’ youth and our students was great.  The event was attended by the Mayor of Lake Wales, several pastors, principals, nurses and many potential students for Job Corps.  In total the event reached about 100 people.
