Jillian Munoz Qualifies for Honors College Program

Jillian Munoz, Student Government President at Pinellas County Job Corps Center has completed her Medical Billing and Coding trade and participated in our August 30th graduation ceremony.  Jillian took her college placement test in June 2011 and in August received a letter from St. Petersburg College that she had qualified for the Honors College Program!  Jillian started her Honors College Program on August 22, 2011.  Jillian spoke at our graduation ceremony from an Associate’s Perspective and received a standing ovation.  Congressman C.W. Bill Young in his speech mentioned that he needed to keep his eye on Jillian because she had sat in his chair in Washington, D.C. during the NJCA conference and during the National Mentorship Day she sat in his chair here in Pinellas!  We are all very proud of Jillian’s success and wish her the best during her college career. Jillian is pictured below with Congressman C.W.
