For the first time since Covid, students at our Pinellas County Job Corps Center have been doing work-based learning on campus, helping in areas from the cafeteria and dorms to education and training, maintenance and more. Best of all, the internship experience was paid thanks to a strong partnership with CareerSource Pinellas. Today, we celebrated the completion of the first WBL group, recognizing each students’ growth throughout the process and also recognizing their supervisors who worked to help each student to learn, grow and excel. Can’t wait to start our second group of students!
