Pinellas County Job Corps has a goal to meet for attracting non-residential students. These are students who live in the St. Petersburg or Pinellas Park area who want to attend training on our campus during the day but go home after classes are done. These income eligible students receive the same tuition-free training opportunities as those who live on campus, including free meals.

Our goal is to recruit 20 non-residential students by August 1 and 36 students by the end of the year.

Non-residential committee members will receive updates on what has been done and is being done to attract students. We will also be asking for your input and assistance in formulating new strategies.

A meeting will be planned in February.
