Students from the Pine Knot Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center (PKJCCCC) have a long history of keeping themselves busy both inside and outside of our local community. Whether on a roadside litter abatement project, assisting with improvements in a community park or providing assistance at a local school function, these students always answer the call. Since March of this year, students and staff from the PKJCCCC have worked on 25 different camp crews in response to wildfire incidents in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia. These crews have provided logistics and manpower support to the various camps.
