The South Mountain Patrol Division of the Phoenix Police Department presented a lesson on Leadership at the Phoenix Job Center. Resource Lieutenant Sean Connolly facilitated the lesson utilizing a PowerPoint presentation before the staff and students at a Monday morning assembly. Officer Connolly spoke about the importance of good decision making skills that student leaders must have. He stated that the quality of every decision is often influenced by what we see in the situation. He also spoke of change and said that leaders have to be like chameleons and adapt to changes in the environment. The lesson ended with a personal testimonial from Officer Lance Hunt, Abatement Detective with the City of Phoenix Police Department.
