The Phoenix Job Corps held a job fair where over 17 companies and organizations accepted resumes from students and the public sector. Many of the companies such as Safeway Foods, Hacienda Healthcare and Danny’s Convenient Wash had applications for job seekers to fill out. This event was sponsored by the CTS (Career Transition Services) of the Phoenix Job Corps Center. CTS provide assistance to students transitioning from Job Corps into employment. This was the first of three job fairs. The next job fair will be an educational job fair where colleges and advance technical institutions will have an opportunity to provide information on enrolling.
