Philadelphia Job Corps Life Science Institute graduates received a Congressional honor during their graduation ceremonies last night (Dec. 8).  Captain Bill Walsh, District Director, staff member to Pennsylvania Congressman Joe Sestak attended the event and presented each graduate with a “Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition” on behalf of the Congressman.  The Democrat representing Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District has long been a Job Corps supporter.  Congressman Sestak wants all of the students to understand the value and importance of their Job Corps training.
The graduation theme, “The Sky Is The Limit If Only You Believe”, and the inspiring message spoken with words of wisdom, encourgement and perserverance resonated loud and clear from Job Corps, Region II Director, Dr. Francis S. Cole.  What’s more, Edna Primrose, National Director Job Corps, who was unable to attend, sent a special letter congratulating the graduates.
