The owners, husband and wife team, Matthew and Sharon Pierce have been operating The Personal Chef, Customized Catering & Design for over nine months. The operation specialty is private parties; catered events; seafood; desserts; and take out Personal Chef began in New Jersey and the business picked up and expanded to Philadelphia the growth has been amazing
Matthew Pierce said, their desire and plan is, “hiring four to five culinary arts students from the Philadelphia Job Corps to provide them on-the-job training and hopefully, a meaningful vocation to expand their skills gained at the center”.
