Angelina Lewis, Certified Nursing Assistant and Philadelphia Job Corps completer works at Independent Homecare as a Home Health Aid (HHA).  Angelina is full time earning over $11 dollars an hour. Independent Homecare staff state, “we love her, find her very compassionate, kind and great with the clients”.  Angelina was enthusiastic and hopeful to find another job, but uncertain how long it would take.  When she completed and separated from Philadelphia Job Corps she was making over $7 dollars an hour with another home health agency, also a HHA.  Angelina considers her new position a promotion, and says, “I’m thrilled to be able to get a job with such a large increase in pay, Job Corps WORKS”!
