5/12/12 CTS Manager Heather Babcock and eight PJCA female students participated in a Habitat for Humanity ground clearing project in Hampden. The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor seeks to eliminate poverty housing in the Greater Bangor Area by building decent, affordable housing with help from its respective communities. This particular project had an extra incentive. Lowe’s Home Improvement had pledged a $5,000 gift card if seventy-five per cent of the volunteers in this initial ground clearing project were women. As you can see from the above photo the Ladies met the goal!!
