On Friday, October 21, 2011, the students and staff of the Penobscot Job Corps Academy (PJCA)  participated in Community Service projects throughout Eastern Maine in conjuction with America’s largest day of service, Make A Difference Day (Saturday, October 22, 2011). PJCA Culinary academic instructor Sara Stephens and her students organized and cleaned the food pantry at the  Bangor Area Homeless Shelter. They also cooked and  served a noon time meal.
