Penobscot Job Corps student Jason Pelletier graciously consented to participate in the 2012 National Job Corps Student Oratory Competition! Jason was videotaped and his testimonial was submitted to the National Job Corps Association (NJCA) in December.  The Oratory Competition is a unique and powerful way for the NJCA to showcase Job Corps students, their stories, and how the program has positively impacted their lives. In the video Jason shared what he did before Job Corps, what he has learned in Job Corps and his plans after completing Job Corps. In January the NJCA will be selecting 2-3 Job Corps students to come to Washington, D.C. in February and present their stories to an audience of policy makers, Administration officials, and other important guest at the annual NJCA policy forum. The entire Penobscot community wishes Jason the best of luck and thanks him for sharing the impact that the Penobscot Job Cops has had on his life!
