Introducing Jocelyn Catalan, a dedicated student at the Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps Campus. Jocelyn came to the program almost one year ago, not sure of what career she wanted to pursue. At first she was interested in the Certified Nurse assistant program but after shadowing her top 3 trades, she surprisingly found Bricklaying to be a better fit for her. Jocelyn quickly tabed out of reading. She currently is a student employee on the campus Monday-Friday after School. She also serves on the Student Government Association as vice president. She was selected to represent the students of The Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps campus at the second annual Leadership Summit at the Department of Labor in Washington D.C.. In February Jocelyn will be attending Advance training/ Bricklayer Pre-job Training at the BAC/IMI Flynn Center – International Training Center for Eight Weeks of Training in Bowie, Maryland. We are truly proud of Jocelyn’s accomplishments!
