Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps Center hosts NJCA Board of Directors

The National Job Corps Association Board of Directors Retreat was hosted by the Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps Center, Bryan Mason, Center Director, students and staff on a 3 day retreat.
The NJCA discussed topics on budget, media outreach and support for Job Corps from Members of Congress. Bryan Mason and student, Helene Williams accompanied the board members to the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times for an editorial briefing to discuss Job Corps.

It was a very busy and exciting three days and we were honored to have the board tour and visit our center. We had an opportunity to introduce to the board, the center’s Professional Learning Community model. Our guest, students and staff enjoyed a dinner and reception as part of the retreat. We would like to thank the NJCA Board of Directors for all of their support.
