Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps acknowledge partner, Skills for Chicago Land’s Future as “Partner of the quarter” this organization seeks to create economic opportunity for the unemployed and underemployed residents of Chicago and surrounding areas. Since 2019, Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps has worked with Skills to provide job placement opportunities for our Pharmacy Tech students through their partnership with Walgreens. This specific partnership gave students the chance to fast track into potential management positions with Walgreens. In 2022, Paul Simon and Skills furthered their partnership as Skills is now referring Pharmacy Tech applicants to Job Corps for training for the National Pharmacy Tech Certification Exam. Upon completing Job Corps, students will continue on as Walgreens employees now as Certified Pharmacy Techs.
