The Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps Center students, staff and CRC members participated in the Disney, Kaboom, Berwyn Park District, Brocato Playground Project.  Over 200 volunteers built a playground for the children of the Berwyn Park community.

The excitement from the children dancing to the music and the afternoon lunch made the work a little easier.  It was hard work but rewarding.  It was a good project for our students who were up at 6am and ready to help build the playground.  Our CRC members were there to give a helping hand.  Our CRC President, Ben Handy was interviewed by ABC 7 and shown on the nightly news.  All the excitement and fun was for a worthy cause and the students of Job Corps were there to help make it happen.
