Prior to joining Job Corps, Greg was laid off as a millwright.  He was not sure what direction to take in acquiring employment when his sister told him about Job Corps.  She had several friends who attended Job Corps and got the training necessary to be successful in a career.  He entered Old Dominion JCC April 17, 2009 and eleven months later:

* Completed the Carpentry Trade
* Obtained OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Hour Certifications
* Entered & completed TCU-Potomac Advanced Training
* Hired as a Train Attendant by Amtrak at $16.72 p/hour.

Greg says, “Job Corps has given me the chance for an education that I otherwise had given up on.”
