JOB CORPS
The word Olympics is not always associated with academics, but that is exactly what took place at the Red Rock Job Corps Academy in Wilkes–Barre, PA. Six teams from the Boston Region Job Corps met in August for four days of mental competition.
Each team is comprised of five team members plus one alternate. Students answer questions on Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Spelling.
Representing Northlands Job Corps Academy were Andrew Misteroni, Sky Carpenter, Mike Smith, Marianne Ferrer, Ben Morisette, and Rich Weinstein. It was a close competition with Northlands taking fourth place. Great job!
