61 people came by the Northlands Health Fair to donate blood, producing 49 productive units. “That’s 111% of the 44-unit goal and it was Job Corps’ best blood drive in our last seven visits,” Dave Carmichael of the American Red Cross Blood Services said. “Congrats to you everyone who played a part in that fantastic result!”

Students from Northlands’ Certified Medical Assistant program worked the event, with Gaye Ann Thompson acting as coordinator with assistance from Mark Barbour.
