U.S. Congressman Cedric Richmond toured New Orleans Job Corps Center last Friday telling members of the Center’s next graduating class:

 “Graduating from the New Orleans Job Corps is a huge honor. Your degree shows not only your ability to work hard and think on a high level, but displays a strength of character and seriousness of purpose that is truly impressive. You are all role models and leaders in your community, and I hope that you will continue down that path. Congratulations on your tremendous achievement”

Congressman Richmond has been an active supporter of Job Corps since taking office earlier this year.

In February, former New Orleans Job Corps Center student president Matthew Gray had the opportunity to job shadow the Congressman for a full working day.
