New Orleans Job Corps  BCL Randy Savoie talked about the Center’s penchant for bringing in mentors and motivational speakers to “impress on our young people the importance of building relationships” in 30 minutes of taped interview with Entercom Radio’s Monica Pierre. The interview aired across all seven of Entercom’s stations including WWL-870 am, the city’s top-rated talk radio station on Sunday.

“Soon many of our students will be volunteering at the Final Four (NCAA Basketball Championship) and we told them ‘what a great opportunity for you to go out and meet some people who can change your life,” said Savoie. “All of these are opportunities for them to interface with people they may have never met otherwise. You never know who is watching- maybe someone who can change their life and then we have another Job Corps success story- another young person who beat the odds.”
