On Thursday, November 10th, New Hampshire Job Corps Facilities Maintenance Manger, Marine Corps Veteran, and U.S. Army Veteran, Arthur Penno, pulled students and staff together at the flag poles to honor all Veterans, including New Hampshire student and staff Veterans, who made personal sacrifices to serve in the armed forces. Mr. Penno recited President Wilson’s commemoration of the first Armistice Day on November 11th, 1919, where he proclaimed the day should be “filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory.” Students then held up the POW (Prisoners of War) flag.
