Muhlenberg Job Corps was ready to help the American Red Cross in its blood donation event

Muhlenberg Job Corps continuously looks forward to helping the American Red Cross with their annual blood drive to help save lives. This years’ event was no different, with the students and staff showing their support by providing assistance as well as giving blood. Each time Muhlenberg Job Corps hosts a blood drive event, they set goals in hopes of providing a substantial donation for the American Red Cross. This year Muhlenberg Job Corps exceeded their goal by 10%. The American Red Cross stated that our efforts for this event would impact up to 116 lives.
While on campus, representatives for the American Red Cross came to understand that our center trains in phlebotomy, and asked that we recommend some of our outstanding students to the Red Cross for possible future job placements. Muhlenberg Job Corps would like to thank students and staff for their valiant efforts with such a needed event, helping saving lives.
The American Red Cross is not a government agency; it relies on donations of time, money and resources from individuals in the local community, corporate partners and like-minded foundations to do its work.
