Dylan Kalivas, a Muhlenberg Job Corps Student who is enrolled at the Madisonville Community College recently won a Math Emporium Hall of Fame Award. Twelve recipients including Kalivas were chosen out of two hundred and fifty math students who attend Madisonville Community College. The Math Emporium Awards are presented monthly; their names and photo are displayed on the Hall of Fame at the college. Kalivas was very surprised when he received this award and said “math use to be my weakest subject, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff of the math emporium class, I am able to progress and help others. Hard work + dedication=success.” Dylan continues to shine as a Job Corps success story as he successfully completed the Pharmacy Technology trade, has completed Work-Based Learning at Walgreens Pharmacy, and has recently been hired to work in the administration office at the Madisonville Community College, Central City Campus. The staff of the Muhlenberg Job Corps are sincerely proud to share his many accomplishments.
