Student Jeffrey Scohera with Senator Paul

On Tuesday, March 22nd, Senator Rand Paul held a town hall meeting at the Central City Convention Center banquet hall.  Senator Paul was in the area to answer question for anyone had concerns regarding the Veterans administration, social security administration, internal revenue service, passports, department of education or military records.

At this meeting, Muhlenberg Job Corps student Jeffrey Scohera took full advantage of the opportunity to discuss the Job Corps program.  Scohera shared with the Senator that he has successfully completed two trades, has held multiple leadership positions, and is now a student of the college program.  He concluded the conversation by thanking the Senator for his support of the program because without it, his accomplishments would not exist.
