In honor of St. Patrick’s Day the Muhlenberg Job Corps celebrated Wacky Olympics Day. Students and staff wore a jersey of their favorite ball team and participated in “Olympic Style” games played in a “Wacky” way. The Wacky Olympics was kicked off by a staff student dodge ball game which generated a lot of fan support. Throughout the day in the gym and recreation hall many games were played such as: Bowling, Hockey Shot, Paddy Pong, Egg in Spoon Race, Darts, Cup Stacking, Sudden Death Billards and Hula Hoop competition. Each game had a little different twist from the real version of the game.
The weather was picture perfect for March with temperatures in the 70’s. The activity was planned and orchestrated by the Muhlenberg Recreation Department under the direction of supervisor Cody Perry. It was an enjoyable and relaxing day for the staff and students. Muhlenberg Pride was definitely on display for these events.
