The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center’s Medical Office Support class had the opportunity to have Shonna Galloway, Director of Provider Services from the Muhlenberg Community Hospital as guest speaker. Galloway who has worked in the health care industry for over twenty six years shared how rewarding the health care industry can be. She informed the students of the many clerical positions available, job responsibilities, salaries, benefits and education requirements of each position. Galloway was very interactive with the students and before she closed her presentation, she conducted a medical terminology quiz with the group. Several students aced the quiz very quickly! The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center would like to thank Ms. Galloway for taking time out of her busy schedule to share her knowledge of the medical field with our students.
