Muhlenberg Job Corps Kicks off Y2Y/S.A.V.E. 2018

Greenville, Ky – The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center kicked off their 2018 Y2Y/S.A.V.E. club initiative to continue being the number one youth-to-youth (Y2Y) antiviolence Job Corps center in the United States. On Saturday, March 10th, the Clubs held a tie-dying event in preparation for the upcoming All Love NOH8 Day on this coming Friday. Over 150 student’s participated, tie-dying shirts to wear on Friday, to show mass support of anti-bullying and anti-violence among youth all over the world.

“The students of MJCC really came together to support this Y2Y event. Staff members brought their children to participate as well. Everyone had a great time and it gets them thinking about anti-violence and how people should treat other people. We hope for even more community involvement this year than last and look forward to maintaining a leadership role in these efforts.” Said Trevor Periard, staff sponsor of the Y2Y/S.A.V.E. clubs and director of finance and administration at MJCC.
