Airborne Infantryman

Robert Harris is a 2014 Construction Equipment Mechanic graduate of the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center. On October 19, 2014 he enlisted into the United States Army and conducted his basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia where he graduated in March 2015. From there he attended airborne school for three weeks where he had the opportunity repeatedly launch himself from C130 and C17 Airplanes.

Harris is currently stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He is proud to say he’s part of the 82nd Airborne division, 2508 PIR (Parachute Infantry Regiment), where he is training for possible combat operations that could occur in Iraq and Afghanistan.
