Muhlenberg Job Corps Center has always maintained a close relationship with our local nursing homes as many of our students participate in Work Based Learning at those facilities. While COVID guidelines have remained in place and made it impossible for our health trade students to work at those facilities our health trade instructors became creative with ways to lift the residents spirits. Career Management Teams are an integral part of the Job Corps program at Muhlenberg encouraging all staff to become actively involved in the success of both the students and center. The Health Trade CMT staff opted to make wreaths which would be delivered to residents at local nursing homes to allow them to decorate their room doors and see that someone cares for them and that they have not been forgotten.
