Three former MCDC students are soaring high in the employment world after their Job Corps graduation. Sean Anderson completed the Job Corps program in February 2012 after 15 months at Muhlenberg. He entered the Job Corps program with his GED and completed heavy equipment operators training. He also took some additional construction equipment mechanics classes. Sean entered the Army on February 27, 2012 and just recently moved to a higher rank.
Steven Longstreet spent nineteen months in the Job Corps program at Muhlenberg. He completed Welding and entered the Advanced Training program at Excelsior Springs Job Corps in Missouri. After completion of his advanced training he took a job with Amtrak as a rail car repairer. He recently enrolled in Amtrak’s Conductors class. Steven completed his high school diploma at Muhlenberg.
Brendan Mattison entered MCDC in August of 2011 and completed his course of work on June 15, 2012. While at Muhlenberg he obtained his high school diploma and the construction equipment mechanics course. A few short months after graduation Brendan entered the United States Army to serve his country.
