Four students and one instructor from the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center are assisting Mud River Union Church with their cemetery expansion. Students from the heavy equipment operator’s course are gaining actual job experience by using the track hoe and bulldozer on this project, which began early May and is expected to be complete mid July. After the project is complete the expansion will extend the cemetery property by an additional three acres. The work conducted by the Muhlenberg Job Corps is a free service, except for the cost of fuel for the equipment.
