Muhlenberg Job Corps students participated in their annual Health & Safety Fair on Friday, June 3rd.  Twenty-two booths related to health and saftey were set up all across the campus.  Students were dismissed from classes for three hours to give them time to visit and talk with each vendor to gather information.

Community supporters taking part in the day’s festivities were: Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s office, Muhlenberg Community Hospital, Greenville Fire Department, Muhlenberg County Ambulance Service, Pennyrile Area Narcotic Task Force, American Red Cross, Muhlenberg Medical Clinic, Green River Hospice, Kentucky Fire Commission Fire Rescue Training and the Wendell H. Ford (National Guard) Fire Department.

Students were given gift bags so they could collect information and give away items each booth had available.  The Health and Safety Fair is sponsored by the Safety Cadets and Wellness Advocates at the Job Corps center.
