Madison Risner-Francis started her career at Muhlenberg Job Corps Center as a student in 2016, where even at that time she exhibited: leadership skills, passion, and compassion – characteristics that are essential for her current position as Residential Advisor.
Risner- Francis started her professional career at Muhlenberg in 2020. The position of Resident Advisor is already challenging, coupled with the added responsibilities caused by a global pandemic makes it doubly so. However, Risner-Francis does not shy away from the hard work, or the challenges. Instead, she dives in and happily tackles obstacles with positivity and reliance. Risner-Francis also knows every student on Campus, she is familiar with their likes, dislikes, and backstories. Being a former student herself provides the advantage of connecting and empathizing with our students more than most.
With all of her accomplishments, it is no wonder why she was awarded employee of the month for Muhlenberg Job Corps Center. One of her peers states of Risner-Francis, “Maddie is one of the strongest people I know. She is honest, trustworthy, and I cannot imagine working without her.”
