Job Corps is the nation’s largest residential training program. The program focuses not only on getting our students industry-recognized credentials, but also on putting those credentials to use by placing our students in jobs. And despite the pandemic, Muhlenberg Job Corps is accepting new students to its program.

How do I enroll in Job Corps?

• You can enroll in Job Corps by filling out the online enrollment interest form at www.jobcorps.gov or by calling 1-800-733-JOBS

What career technical training programs are offered at Muhlenberg Job Corps Center?

• There are training programs in two major categories at Muhlenberg Job Corps — healthcare and construction. Specific training programs include the following:
  • Certified Nurse Assistant
  • Clinical Medical Assistant
  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Welding
  • Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic
  • Material Handling and Distribution Operations
  • Heavy Equipment Operations
  • Heavy Truck Driving

Does it cost anything?

• Once admitted to the program, Job Corps is 100% FREE. The federal government fully funds all our programs.

Who is eligible for Job Corps?

• You may be eligible if you:
  • Are committed to improving your education and your future.
  • Need job skills training, education, counseling, or related assistance to help get you started on a career pathway.
  • Are between the ages of 16 and 24 and are a U.S. citizen, a legal U.S. resident, a resident of a U.S. territory and/or are authorized to work in the United States.
  • Meet other eligibility requirements, including income eligibility.
