This October, the Muhlenberg Job Corps S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violence Everywhere) club is honoring National Domestic Violence Awareness Month by promoting peace on Center.
A majority of the students took a stand on Tuesday, October 25th to remind everyone that there are still countless people impacted by domestic violence. Domestic violence thrives when we are silent; but when everyone takes a stand and works together, we can end domestic violence together.
S.A.V.E. club members distributed purple gloves and ribbons, and painted the ring fingernail purple for those who chose to do so. The purpose of painting the ring fingernail purple is to raise awareness of abuse and start a conversation; which is part of the “Put a Nail In It” domestic violence campaign.
