Muhlenberg Job Corps graduate, Kayniscia Moore graduated from the Medical Office Support program and completed her certification in insurance just a little more than one year ago and was quickly hired by Quality Care and Advocacy Group as a full time insurance and billing specialist in her home state of Georgia.
“The hard work I put into my education at Muhlenberg Job Corps Center taught me how to make goals and reach them. With a great teacher and motivation from my peers, I was prepared for my career when I exited the program.” Said Moore. “Being a student at Job Corps is much like working a regular job. You learn to work in a diverse environment, work as a team, and function well with others.”
When asked what advice she had for current or future students, Moore expressed the importance of making sound decisions based on goals.
“You just have to know why you are there with the goals in mind. If you just stay positive, speak positive, and act in a positive way toward others, positive things will happen in your life!” Moore said.
