Kentucky’s junior Senator Rand Paul, his State Deputy Director Rachel McCubbin and his Field Representative Jason Hasert visited the Muhlenberg Job Corps campus on Tuesday, April 26th. Senator Paul met with Student Government Association leaders and other representatives of the Muhlenberg student body for 45 minutes in the Conference Room of the Administration Building. Senator Paul talked to the students about why they came to Job Corps, what they are accomplishing at Job Corps and what they plan to do after leaving Job Corps. It was a very productive meeting that gave Senator Paul a great glimpse of the Job Corps program on his first visit to a Job Corps center since being elected United States Senator. Also coming to visit with Senator Paul was Ed DeArmond, Greenville Mayor, Ben VanHooser, Greenville City Administrator, Rick Newman, Muhlenberg County Judge Executive and Dr. Willard Keith, Director of the Emergency Room Services at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
