Bridges out of Poverty embraced at Muhlenberg Job Corps

In July, Jim Littlejohn and Kathy Jacobi, professional educators and consultants of the Felix E. Martin, Jr. Foundation presented Bridges out of Poverty to the staff of the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center.  Bridges out of Poverty is a community support program that provides family concepts, workshops, and products to help employers, community organizations, social service agencies, and individuals address and reduce poverty in a comprehensive way.  Bridges out of Poverty brings people from all sectors and economic classes together to improve job retention rates, build resources, improve outcomes, and support those who are moving out of poverty.  The Felix E. Martin, Jr., foundation continues to reach out to multiple education programs such as the Job Corps to ensure they are aware of the resources and support available for the disadvantaged youth the program serves.

The corporate contractor, Horizons Youth Services and the staff of the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center would like to thank the Felix E. Martin, Jr., foundation for the very informative session and for their continued support of the Job Corps program.
