Mr. Delane-Harris’ poise and professionalism caught the eye of the guests. The center Business Community Liaison and Center Director worked through the details along with members of Congresswoman Moore’s staff to open up this opportunity for Deonte. One of Deonte’s goals has always been to be a politician. He is grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Deonte appreciates that he is able to connect with the community members who contact Congresswoman Moore’s office. Deonte said that the work he is doing is similar to the work he does as a Student Government Representative because he is able to connect with those people who have a concern and offer assistance.
