NH Job Corps Trainee Jaycob McBournie Interviewed on 99.1fm NH1 Radio

Business & Community Director Cassie Gudek, and Job Corps Hospitality student, Jaycob McBournie were invited to interview on NH1 News radio by Program Director Jeff Wade. The 28 minute segment featuring NH Job Corps Center included a discussion on the skills gap in New Hampshire, the specific trades offered at the Center, as well as community service and campus life.

Cassie invited employers to reach out to the center to support the work-based learning component of Job Corps, and to participate in the development of the states future workforce. Jaycob invited young adults to call our admissions department to see if they qualify.

After the interview, Jeff invited Cassie & Jay to take a tour of the impressive NH1 TV Studio. Before they left for the tour, Program Director Jeff Wade shared interview stories of some interesting guests, and informed Jaycob that he just sat in the same seat as Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz, just a few months ago.

Business & Community Director Cassie notes, “We are so appreciative of the opportunity to speak on the NH1 Community radio program. As part of an effort to increase awareness of the New Hampshire Job Corps Center, we think this will go a long way.”

Be sure to tune in this weekend to catch the interview – Saturday night at 10:30pm and Sunday morning at 11am on 99.1FM – NH1!
