Loring Job Corps Students Step Dancers won as the group dancers to benefit Aroostook Substance Abuse Prevention

Loring Job Corps Center Step Team entered a fund raising event for ASAP (Aroostook Substance Abuse Prevention)in the group category for the “Move It and Grove It” dance competition. Not only did the steppers participate in this community event it was for a very important cause to implement diverse substance abuse prevention activities and they also truely enjoy dancing! The LJCC Step team named Star Steppers, won the group category performing to the hip-hip song “Feet(Step) Giggity”, tributed to their former Culinary Arts Instructor, Wayne Cousins that recently passed on Sept. 23rd.

The Star Steppers was a a newly formed group at LJCC and they are seeking other opportunities to dance in the community and become more involved.
