Loring Job Corps Center students proudly march in parade focusing on healthy lifestyles

On Friday evening August 12th, Caribou’s annual “Caribou Cares about Kids Parade” lined up to begin its traditional march. This year’s theme was Healthy Lifestyles & Let’s Move campaign. The students at LJCC wanted to participate and showcase their trades and hand out healthy snacks to all the sideline viewers! Each technical trade dressed in their trade uniforms, made banners or signs to display proudly to their audience. The Honor Guard was selected to begin the parade, but close behind in the lineup was our electric vehicle, SGA, ACT and over 20 students selected to represent their vocational trades. Even though the weather did not hold off from heavy showers before the parade was completed our students showcased our parade entry with much respect and pride.
