On March 8, 2012, Loring Job Corps Center hosted the first Center Industry Council meeting for 2012. The technical vocations that were featured were CISCO Academy and Medical Office Support. The instructors along with student representation and Career Technical Training Manager gave an overview of their vocations and Power-Points were presented on certain aspects of their training. Student made a positive impression and answered all questions specific to their trade by the attendees. This was the first time the culinary students and instructor presented a wonderful continental breakfast spread for our CIC council and guests.

Representation from our local businesses and congressional delegation included Senator Olympia Snowe, Senator Susan Collins, Maine Public Service, Maine DOT, American Red Cross, Healthy Aroostook and Aroostook County Action Program.
