Loring Job Corps Assist American Red Cross Office Move

On  January 26, 2011 News Release published in the local community, portion of “COUNTY RED CROSS OFFICE MOVES TO NEW CARIBOU FACILITY”.  The Aroostook County Branch office of the Pine Tree Chapter of the American Red Cross has moved into new and larger quarters in downtown Caribou. “Your Red Cross has moved just a few blocks,” said branch manager Joyce Knorr, “but the facility is just as centrally located, and because it is larger we will be able to serve County residents better.”

Knorr also thanked the Loring Job Corps Center’s Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) students and instructors who made the move possible. “These wonderful people loaded and moved office equipment and furniture. Just as they did when we moved three years ago from Presque Isle to Caribou, they made the move easy and painless for everyone involved.”

Michael Espling, instructor for Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)  with students performed community service by aiding the move of American Red Cross to a different location. With the use of our box truck and 10 students hard work it was accomplished.
