Maine’s Congressman Michael Michaud made an unexpected visit to the Loring Job Corps Center along with local Representative Barbara Hayslett. Due to other business in the area Congressman Michaud took the time to to congratulate the Center  on our hard work and dedication. Our Center Director Kristie Moir and BCL, Pamela D. Buck had the opportunity to discuss our center’s students achievements, green activities within the classrooms, community service projects and thanked him for his continuous support and involvement with LJCC. He was asked to return again to LJCC to visit with our students and have an updated tour of our center. Congressman Michaud had the opportunity to greet some of our returning students from summer break, other staff from security and transportation before his departure.
